Naama and David’s wedding was one-of-a-kind! It took place at David’s family’s historic charming Cape Cod, lakeside home, which is filled with sentimentality for both David and Naama – and for many in their extended family. One aspect of this wedding which was so different and interesting, was incorporating Naama’s family’s ancient Indian Jewish traditions alongside David’s family’s Ashkenaz Jewish customs. The couple wished to capitalize on the natural, outdoorsy feel of the property, so the entire wedding – from the Bedekin, Tisch, ceremony and reception, all took place outdoors, and was infused with stunning colorful florals. Planning this wedding was certainly a logistical challenge – between arranging for off-site parking and trolley-bussing, multiple town permits needed for various aspects of the wedding, upscale porter-potties, electrical generators, full, extensive catering using nothing but portable kitchens, lighting the outdoors once the sun went down, arranging for multiple bands for various parts of the wedding, lifeguards to watch out for any children who strayed from their parents – not to mention managing the torrential rain that fell the entire morning of the event! But within an hour of the beginning of the wedding, the rain abated, and the rest of the afternoon and evening was simply perfect! The romantic ceremony took place under a gorgeous floral and birch chuppah, which overlooked the beautiful glistening lake; the guests then enjoyed unique, gourmet delicacies while they danced the night away in a huge, gorgeous tent, which was filled with an abundance of love and pure joy. There is no doubt that the end-result of this wedding worth every second of our planning efforts!!
