What a joy it was for me to plan this wedding!  I had planned Ella’s older brother’s wedding as well as her uncle’s wedding, both of which took place a few years earlier than Ella and Danny’s wedding.  As such, I had already developed a very close relationship with Ella’s wonderful family – and I couldn’t wait to plan yet another Stemmer event!!
Ella and Danny got married at the beautiful Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy; the ballroom, of which three sides are all windows, overlooks the Boston skyline.  The view during the day is ethereal; the sunset over the golf course is breathtaking, and the city’s twinkling lights at night makes the venue a spectacular choice for any romantic event.  And when you add a couple like Ella and Danny, who were so elated and in love – you end up with a perfect equation!
The beautiful ceremony took place in the outdoor, tented pavilion, which overlooks the venue’s lush gardens and boasts view of the city’s skyline, and it was followed by a stunning, incredibly energetic and unbelievably happy indoor wedding reception.  The elegant ballroom was decorated with gorgeous textured ivory linens, elegant chair sashes, and spectacular florals in graded shades of white and green.  The guests loved the music and energy of the eclectic and well-known Moshav Band from NY.  One of the best surprises of the evening came when Ella and Danny started dancing their ‘first dance’ – and they suddenly morphed the romantic slow dance into what looked like an impromptu – yet perfectly choreographed – dance to the all-time 70’s favorite, Stayin’ Alive.  Until that point, it seemed that the wedding guests couldn’t have been any more in love with this perfect couple – but as soon as the bride and groom donned their shades and started their impressive disco moves, the crowd fell in love with them all over again!!
