What a hit this event was!! Marni and Jon wanted their friends and family to enjoy a sophisticated adult party, which took place alongside their amazing twin sons’ Bar Mitzvah celebration. The two events occurred simultaneously, but in separate spaces at the same temple. While the kids were partying at their fun-filled, DJ Bar Mitzvah party, the adults had a blast at their more grown-up, yet warm and laid-back West-Elm-ambiance event. The adults enjoyed socializing with their friends amidst an abundant selection of wines, delicious cheeses and an array of beautifully-presented hors d’eouvres. Marni and Jon wanted to decorate the space such that it would feel like a gorgeous countryside meadow, filled with rustic elements and an abundance of florals. The perfectly appointed antique wagon was utilized as a décor focal point; the high and low wood farmer’s cocktail tables as well as the rustic lounge furniture served as perfect seating options for the guests. Other elements, such green “grass” carpeting, barrels of hay, wood crates, watering cans, gardening tools and wire baskets situated on tree stumps and filled with gorgeous succulents, all contributed to the meadow-like, beautiful aesthetic.
