If you want to plan a Nantasket-Beach-themed event, look here for your inspiration! Jack and Jenna and their incredibly fun family spend their summers at Nantasket Beach, so they decided that it was only fitting to re-create their fun-filled summers into their Bnei Mitzvah celebration! This was an unparalleled, energy-filled, incredible event! The celebration took place at Blue Hill Country Club, and the ballroom was transformed using beach-themed elements. One of the highlights was a replica of the family’s own ocean-side deck – complete with beach chairs, a sun-umbrella and towels – as well as a gorgeous, authentic photo of the Nantasket sunset. The place cards were hand-written on burnt-edged paper and were then inserted in mini message-in-a-bottles, and placed atop a sand and shell-filled table. Instead of table numbers, each adult guest table was identified by a Nantasket street name, replete with signs that look just like the town’s authentic street signs. Customized wood surf boards were used as Jack sign-in boards; sea glass, driftwood, succulents, air plants, starfish, deep blue hydrangea, beach balls, river rocks, photos of Jack and Jenna growing up and playing at the beach, and gorgeous candlelight, all helped to enhance the elegant – but incredibly fun – beach themed party. This party was filled with so much dancing, excitement and energy – and the final thematic surprise of the evening awaited the guests as they left the country club: a fully-stocked ice cream truck!
