Brooke’s incredible Bat Mitzvah weekend began with a gorgeous, inspiring and spiritual Friday night dinner. Brooke’s family and friends enjoyed quality time together amidst a delicious, gourmet Shabbat meal, complete with entertainment by Six13 – the acclaimed NY a capella singers. The following day, the guests were treated to a fabulous Kiddush and more entertainment by the music group. The Shabbat events featured a beautiful pink, black and white décor – but the surprise theme of party was not revealed until their guests entered the venue on Saturday night.
For any dog-lover (and anyone else!), Brooke’s dog-themed Bat Mitzvah party was the ultimate!! As soon as the guests entered the party venue, they were greeted with an amazing place card display which consisted of a life-size, adorable floral ‘dog’, complete with a leash, and bone-shaped place cards. Brooke’s logo, which included her name and an adorable pink poodle, was seen throughout the event on various signage, cocktail napkins, the dance floor, table numbers, plasma screens, centerpieces, light projections, benchers, and sweatshirts which were give-aways for Brooke’s friends. The ballroom was decorated with a variety of different – yet coordinated – spectacular pink and black thematic centerpieces; the kids enjoyed their own lounge area, which was situated behind a beaded-curtain area, filled with sofas, ottomans, and cocktail tables. The back wall was covered with a stunning ‘photo wall’ which consisted of enlarged photos of Brooke as she growing up; the photo wall served as a backdrop for a Step-and-Repeat photo op – coupled with a photographer who took photos and printed them out – for all of Brooke’s guests.
There was no dog-themed detail that was overlooked: the napkin rings were silver ‘bones’; the dessert displays, as well as the desserts themselves, consisted of delicious and adorable ‘dog treats’. The guests hardly stepped off the dance floor, as the DJ had them spectacularly entertained throughout the evening. But the one time they had to take pause was for the surprise entry of a renowned dog trainer, together with his three talented dogs, who entertained the guests with a fabulous dog show! The entire event was unbelievable and breathtaking, and Brooke’s gracious and wonderful parents just wanted Brooke and all of their guests to have the time of their lives. There is no doubt that they perfectly accomplished just what they set out to do!
