ALICIA + AVI’S WEDDING VIDEO

Alicia and Avi’s wedding was a fairytale, in absolutely every respect. The stunning couple, both of whom exude such love and deep respect for each other – were so much fun to watch and to party with!  The spectacular wedding, which was held at The Park Plaza Hotel in downtown Boston, took place at the end of October.  But despite the ‘typical’ New England fall weather, the temperature was crisp and perfect, and it allowed the photographer to take all of the gorgeous formal photos in The Boston Commons.
When the guests arrived, they were wowed by the spectacular place card display, which consisted of a silver-lace linen, decorated with numerous tall vases which were filled with purple phalaenopsis orchids, tropical oversized  elephant leaves, and tons of candles.  The Tisch and Bedekin were both incredibly lively and filled with so much love and excitement; the ceremony boasted a huge, gorgeous draped Chuppah, which featured a beautiful crystal chandelier in its center. The hotel’s charming ballroom, which has been redone such that it still encapsulates a gorgeous, old-world feel – but, at the same time, is updated and contemporary – was decorated beautifully with a variety of stunning centerpieces, classy – but simple – linens, silver chiavari chairs, and silver tasseled napkin rings. The lighting design – which consisted of up-lighting and impactful pin-spotting of the centerpieces – made the room simply radiant.
As gorgeous as the room looked, the real highlight of the wedding was the incredible energy, love, happiness and excitement that emanated from the bride and groom and enveloped every single guest. Alicia and Avi blew away every person who was in the ballroom (guests and staff alike!) when the couple began singing an unbelievable, melodic duet – with Avi on the keyboard and vocals and Alicia singing – To Love Somebody – originally by The Bee Gees.
The fabulous NY band, Nafshenu Orchestra, entertained the guests for the entire wedding, and for the last hour, the band was augmented by a DJ who specialized in pop music.  It was during that time – after everyone had been wowed more than they could ever have anticipated – that the guests were delighted by yet another awesome surprise: each person was given a customized LED bracelet, which pulsated and lit up in unison to the beat of the music.  The guests – even the many who were traveling out-of-state following the wedding – stayed until the very end, as no one wanted to miss a second of this perfect, once-in-a-lifetime wedding!
