This spectacular wedding, which took place at the gorgeous Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Boston, is one for the story-books. The extensive set-up took about 20 hours to complete, but the jaw-dropping results were unquestionably worth the efforts. First, we replaced the hotel’s existing carpet with a classy all-grey wall-to-wall carpet; we then added a beautiful wood-like dance floor to the center of the room. Opulent draping, extensive lighting, an array of different – yet coordinated – wood, acrylic, lighted and draped tables – paired with stunning chairs, an abundance of stunning floral centerpieces, acrylic bars – filled with birch and orchids – and a handful of strategically-placed, crisp pieces of lounge furniture, all contributed the spectacularly breathtaking look. The magnificent showpiece of the wedding was the dramatic and out-of-this-world chuppah, which was suspended from the ceiling, and was constructed with thousands of white dendrobium orchid heads. The ceremony took place in the same room as the dinner and dancing, so the bride and groom, and all of their guests, were able to dance and revel under this one-of-a-kind chuppah throughout the evening. Check out the fascinating time-lapse video on our Video page to watch a fast-forwarded version of the ballroom’s unbelievable transformation.
